The pros: This little bottle is super easy to use. Having a pump makes getting proper dosage a breeze! The bottle doesn't leak, and is very well-made.The cons: I'm not a fan of the taste of this liquid. I found it much easier for me to consume by squirting it on a small piece of toast and then covering it with honey. This is a quality high absorption liposomal vitamin b complex supplement. The liquid is reddish in color and the viscosity is similar to cough syrup. Label directions state it is to be taken on an empty stomach 10 minutes before meals and held in the mouth for 30-90 seconds before swallowing. In my experience the lemon raspberry flavor is overpowered by the strong vitamin taste and is not pleasant to hold in your mouth before swallowing. I had no stomach discomfort after taking it on an empty stomach but my son did. If you have a sensitive stomach you may want to take it with food although presumably it would decrease absorption. I cannot make any health claims here but I do believe that liposomal methylated B-12 is the best form for bioavailability and energy. It comes in convenient pump form and if the taste is not objectionable to you it is easy to put 2 pumps into your mouth as you're headed out the door.
Easy to use with the pump and clear directions on the back.Hopefully it will help and with the ingredients that are listed it should. The highlights say that it is unflavored but the bottom says lemon and then the back says citrus oils and natural flavorings. It it not unflavored which I would prefer. It has a very strong medicinal flavor. It reminds me of a strong cough syrup. Thankfully after drinking water the taste goes away but it is not palatable to me. If it helps a lot with my symptoms I'd continue it but otherwise I will switch to nonflavored. Also you can tell that this is oil based and that also gives a weird feeling in your mouth and to swallow but I think I will get used to it. Just have to get over the flavor.
As far as liquid vitamins go, this sees much easier to ingest than other brands that I've attempted. The flavor is fine. I mix it with a glass of water. The recommended serving of two pumps seemed small, but it was absorbed right away. It made my brain tingle a little. I can definitely feel it providing some minerals or vitamins that my body was desiring.The one odd thing about it is the pump style. It looks like a skin care product as this is the kind of pump I'm more used to seeing for skincare products and at first I wasn't sure what I had ordered. Due to the style or the container, it's also difficult to tell how much is left. I could envision running out of the product by accident.Ultimately, the vitamins seem good, but the packaging is confusing.
What caught my attention when I ordered this product was that not only was it described as being liposomal, which I believe is a more bio-available and absorbable form of vitamins, but also because it contained methylated vitamins.Ever since I discovered I have an MTHFR gene variant, I’ve been making a lot of dietary changes and switching to already methylated vitamins. This looked like a really convenient and easy-to-use form. I was happy to see the methylated form of B-12 as methylcobalamin. However, I was a little intrigued to see Calcium Folinate on the list instead of just methylfolate. I need to research that some more, but I think the Calcium Folinate could be a suitable option for me.As far as the rest of the ingredient list goes, I’m pretty familiar with everything, and I didn’t see anything that would give me cause for concern, at least not at the moment. It appears to be fairly straightforward without a lot of unnecessary additives, which I appreciate. The liquid itself has an easy-to-swallow consistency that squirts easily from the pump bottle.Unfortunately, I just can’t get over the taste of this. The bottle label describes the flavor as Lemon Raspberry, and I do get a bit of acidity and some citrus notes from it temporarily, but there is something else going on there that overpowers that flavor immediately. I get a very strong, bitter, and sharp aftertaste that just is not enjoyable at all to me. I understand that being liposomal, there has to be some lipids involved in the formulation, but I don’t think it’s that. The ingredient list just mentions natural citrus oils and natural flavorings. Whatever the combination is, I just have to be honest and say that it’s not at all enjoyable to me.As far as value for money goes, I don’t think this is even in the ballpark of being anything close to a reasonable value. I definitely wouldn’t order it again because of that reason, and because of the taste. I’m going to be generous and give it four stars, though. I think the combination of ingredients is very intriguing and potentially helpful, but it’s not quite what I’m looking for.
